What I CAN Help YOU With
At Monday Counseling, every service is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and respect for your unique story. Whether you’re navigating life on your own or with a partner, this is a space where healing and growth happen — together.

Individual Counseling
For pre-teens, teens, and adults working through anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem issues, or simply feeling stuck. We’ll work together to build resilience, discover meaning, and move toward a more fulfilling life

Couple Counseling
For partners seeking deeper emotional connection, healthier communication, or guidance through relationship challenges. Using tools from the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy, we’ll work toward greater understanding and connection.

Veteran Counseling
For those who’ve served and are ready to unpack what military life left behind. Whether it’s trauma, stress, or a sense of disconnection, we’ll work together to rebuild trust in yourself and create a grounded, purposeful path forward.

LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF
I’M REBECCA, counselor, listener, fellow human
I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who loves working with people of all ages and walks of life. I believe everyone deserves a safe space to be heard, understood, and supported — especially when life feels overwhelming.
My counseling style is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in a strength-based approach. We’ll work together to clarify your goals, build on what’s already working, and create meaningful change.
Outside the therapy room, I’m a wife, mom, daughter, sister, and lifelong learner. I know firsthand how messy, beautiful, and complex life can be — and I’m here to support you through it. You don’t have to have it all figured out; you just have to take the first step. I’m here to walk with you.

PROFESIONAL COUNSELING
WHAT TO EXPECT
Professional counseling relies heavily on an open, trusting relationship between counselor and client. Counseling looks like a conversation with a purpose. Many people find themselves nervous when they call the first time, however, once they reach out and make their first appointment clients often report feeling increased hope.

Connection
The relationship between client and therapist is the main vehicle for change and growth in therapy. It helps foster strong connections with yourself and others.

Respect
This is your space to learn, heal, and be. Your words, actions, and beliefs will always be respected and met with empathy and respect.

Focus
Counseling helps you clarify what you’re feeling, what you need, and where you want to go. Together, we’ll explore new perspectives, uncover strengths, and take practical steps toward meaningful change.

YOU BRING THE STORY, I’LL BRING THE TOOLS.
Together, we’ll make sense of what’s been, understand what’s now, and shape what’s next.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
01. Do you accept insurance?
Yes. I currently accept United Healthcare, Aetna, and Cigna. If you’re unsure about your coverage, I’m happy to help you navigate that process.
02. What if you don’t take my insurance?
If your insurance isn’t accepted, you’re welcome to pay privately. My out-of-pocket rate is $120 per session. I can also provide a superbill if you’d like to request reimbursement through your insurance provider.
03. How long is each session?
Sessions last approximately 53 minutes, which is considered a standard “therapeutic hour.” This allows time afterward for me to document your session and prepare for our next steps. Appointments are typically scheduled on the hour.
04. How often will I have appointments?
That depends on your unique situation. Some clients begin with weekly sessions, while others come bi-weekly or monthly depending on goals, symptom severity, and scheduling needs. We’ll decide together what pace is best for your progress.
05. Do you offer telehealth sessions?
Yes, I do offer secure telehealth sessions when needed. However, I believe in-person therapy provides the richest experience and often leads to a deeper therapeutic connection. Telehealth can be a convenient alternative once we’ve built rapport or when circumstances make coming into the office difficult.
06. What can I expect in the first session?
Your first session is all about getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you in, explore your goals, and start building a sense of comfort and trust. You don’t need to have all the answers — just come as you are. This is a space where you can begin to feel heard, supported, and understood.
