MY SERVICES
Life brings challenges—therapy helps you meet them with clarity, strength, and support. At Monday Counseling, each service is tailored to meet you where you are, whether you’re navigating personal struggles, relationship dynamics, or the unique stress of military life. You don’t have to have it all figured out; you just have to take the first step. I’m here to walk with you.

INDIVIDUAL counseling
FOR TEENS, YOUNG ADULTS, AND ADULTS
Life gets messy sometimes — counseling gives you the space to sort through it. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, self-doubt, or simply feeling stuck, individual counseling is a place to slow down, gain clarity, and reconnect with your values.
We’ll use a strengths-based, personalized approach to explore what’s going on, identify what matters most to you, and build strategies to move forward. Techniques may include:
How do I know if counseling is right for me?
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of your next step, therapy can offer support, clarity, and direction. Many clients come in not knowing exactly what they need — and that’s okay.
What approaches and techniques do you use ?
I tailor each session to your needs, drawing from a range of evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based strategies. These approaches help build insight, improve emotional regulation, and create meaningful, lasting change.
What are some of your common focus areas in individual counseling?
I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, life transitions, emotional regulation, grief, trauma, burnout, and identity-related concerns. Whatever you’re facing, we’ll explore it together at your pace.
What ages do you work with?
I provide individual counseling for teenagers (ages 12–18), young adults (age 18–24), and adults (age 24+). Each stage of life brings its own challenges, and I tailor the approach to meet you or your child right where they are.
COUPLE counseling
FOR PARTNERS IN ALL SEASONS OF RELATIONSHIP
Every relationship has its hard moments — whether you’re struggling to communicate, facing disconnection, or simply wanting to grow together. Couples counseling is a space for honest conversation, emotional safety, and meaningful connection.
Do we need to be in crisis to seek counseling?
Not at all. Many couples come to therapy simply to deepen their connection, improve communication, or prepare for a life change. It’s never too early or too late to invest in your relationship.
What if my partner is hesitant about counseling?
That’s very common. We’ll start where you both are and go at a pace that feels respectful and manageable. Counseling is a collaborative process, not a confrontation.
Do we need to meet together for every session?
Most sessions are held jointly, as the focus is on your relationship and how you interact as a couple. However, I may occasionally suggest individual check-ins if it helps support the overall process. These are always discussed in advance and done with transparency.
Do you work with all types of couples?
Yes — all couples are welcome, regardless of marital status, orientation, or background.
What approaches and techniques do you use for Couples Counseling?
I primarily use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method — two highly effective, research-backed approaches for strengthening relationships. EFT helps couples understand and shift emotional patterns that may be keeping them stuck or disconnected. The Gottman Method focuses on improving communication, rebuilding trust, and increasing emotional intimacy through practical tools. I also bring in mindfulness and strengths-based strategies to support each partner’s growth both individually and as a couple.

VETERAN counseling
SUPPORT FOR VETERANS NAVIGATING LIFE AFTER SERVICE, TRAUMA RECOVERY, OR TRANSITIONS TO CIVILIAN LIFE
Military service can leave lasting imprints — both strengths and struggles. If you’re a veteran experiencing PTSD, depression, anxiety, anger, or challenges adjusting to life post-service, counseling can help you process what’s happened and build a path forward. You’ve carried a lot. This is a place to lay some of that down.
Who can seek veteran counseling?
Monday Counseling’s veteran counseling is available to anyone with a military connection – including veterans of any era, active-duty service members, National Guard/Reserve, military spouses, and other family members (ages 12 and up).
Trauma can affect not only the service member but their loved ones too, so I can also work with spouses, parents, and teens from military families.
You don’t need to be enrolled in VA care or have any special status – therapy is open to you simply as a person who served or is connected to someone who served (even if you have no VA paperwork).
Do I need a formal diagnosis or military paperwork to start veteran counseling?
No. You do not need to show military ID or have a formal diagnosis to begin counseling.
Therapy is available as soon as you’re ready. A diagnosis may become useful later—such as for insurance or accessing certain benefits—but that’s something we’ll decide together if and when it’s helpful.
The only thing you need to bring is a willingness to start the conversation. Everything else can come later, or not at all.
Do you offer trauma-informed care?
Yes—trauma-informed care is at the heart of my approach.
This means I’m trained to understand how trauma impacts the brain, body, and relationships—and how to create a safe, supportive space for healing. We’ll move at your pace, and you’ll never be asked to share more than you’re ready to.
My goal is to help you feel safe, empowered, and in control of your healing process. Whether your experiences involve PTSD, military sexual trauma (MST), or the stress of transitioning to civilian life, therapy will always center your voice and your goals.
You lead the journey—I’m here to walk alongside you with tools, perspective, and empathy.
How can you help with veteran-specific challenges (PTSD, MST, transition)?
Veteran life comes with unique challenges—and so does the transition afterward. Whether you’re navigating post-traumatic stress (PTSD), military sexual trauma (MST), or the often-overwhelming shift into civilian life, therapy offers a space to process, heal, and rebuild.
At Monday Counseling, I use evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, ACT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based tools—all tailored to your experience and needs. We’ll work at your pace to:
-
Understand your experiences without judgment
-
Manage symptoms like hypervigilance, anxiety, or flashbacks
-
Build coping strategies rooted in your strengths
-
Reconnect with yourself and others
-
Create new meaning and direction for the next chapter of life
You’re not broken—and you don’t have to face this alone. Healing is possible, and I’m here to walk that path with you.
